Asako Iwasawa

Born and raised in Tokyo.
Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Design.
Established a textile design studio.
Lived as a farmer in the countryside for 10 years.
After returned to Tokyo, started to live in the world of fine art.

2020
Selected as one of the excellent artists by Haegeumgang Theme Museum International Art Festival.
Participated in “Exodus V:Aesthetics in the Political” at White Box NY, curated by MS. Kyoko Sato.
2018
Won the Ronin Globus Artist in Residence award.
2017
Won the best elevator art at Cultural Center of Cape Cod, NY.
2015
Artworks were featured in the summer issue of FAERIE MAGAZINE.
