制作活動とテーマ
楮や三椏などの原料を炊き、長年手漉き和紙による作品にこだわりを持ち研究している。
代表作に日南海岸をテーマにした「碧想」シリーズや、時代の流れや地層をテーマにした「太古」「鳴動」シリーズがある。
和紙の柔らかな質感を活かし、自然への畏敬のシンボルを着色やマチエールにより変幻自在に表現している。

Artistic Practice and Themes
Kuroki has long dedicated her practice to creating works using handmade washi paper, carefully boiling and preparing natural fibers such as kozo and mitsumata, and continuing her research through traditional papermaking techniques.
Her representative series include “Hekis? (Blue Reverie)”, inspired by the Nichinan coastline, as well as the “Taiko (Primeval)” and “Meid? (Resonance)” series, which explore the flow of time and the strata of the earth.
Drawing on the soft, organic textures of washi, she expresses symbolic forms of reverence for nature through layered color and richly varied surface textures.
